2007/08 NIE program highlights

Mondays -- Starting on April 7: an 8-part serial for our youngest readers and listeners ( ages 5-9), entitled "Black Thunder". More information on serials page. Also: Book Buzz Picks and Reviews -- a student reading and publishing opportunity.

News*pa*per in ed*u*ca*tion noun [NIE] 1: A nationwide effort to provide newspapers to teachers and students for use in classrooms as learning tools in every subject 2: An educational outreach program that offers curriculum support to teachers including curriculum guides, professional development workshops (approved by the State Department of Education), newspaper production tours, and in-school student workshops.
