2007/08 NIE program highlights

  • Mondays -- Starting on April 7: an 8-part serial for our youngest readers and listeners ( ages 5-9), entitled "Black Thunder". More information on serials page. Also: Book Buzz Picks and Reviews -- a student reading and publishing opportunity.

  • Tuesdays -- USA Weekend delivered on Tuesdays to all NIE classrooms, with lesson plans on the Classroom Connections page. Also every Tuesday: THE QUIZ - current events.
  • Wednesdays -- Kid Scoop for elementary age students.
  • Thursdays --  Our once-a-month Student Opinion Page for grades 5 through 12: send us your editorial letters, poems and cartoons.
